Alliance Française's 36th French Film Festival

The highly anticipated 36th season of the Alliance Française French Film Festival is back at The Kino for a milestone year of must-see French cinema.
Between March and April, the world’s largest showcase of French cinema outside of France returns with a programme set to surprise, provoke and enchant. Featuring the two biggest box office successes of French cinema in 2024 The Count of Monte Cristo / Le Comte de Monte Cristo and Beating Hearts / L’Amour Ouf as well as a fantastic selection of contemporary French films, including our Opening Night film, the wonderful Monsieur Aznavour.

Thursday 13 March | 6pm arrival | Includes a drinks and a live musical performance of Ravel's Bolero
Wednesday 19 March | 6pm arrival | Featuring All Stirred Up - Tous toqués ! | Includes food and drinks and introductory talk by renowned Melbourne-based French chef Philippe Mouchel
Thursday 20 March | 6pm arrival | Includes glass of wine and introductory talk from Dr Charlotte Mackay from Monash Univeristy
Wednesday 9 April | 6pm arrival | Featuring In the Sub for Love - À toute allure | Includes food and drinks and farewell celebrations
